My duties in Dettol master template project

Analysis of all provided materials and research results, gathering input from business and stakeholders.
Creating information architecture for new websites, building structure.
Forming new user journeys and designing lo-fi concepts.
Designing all website features with use of all concepts provided by external agency.
Composing all unique page layouts to be used in global market websites updates.

Performing workshops and consultations with brand to define final features and assets.
Supporting development of new template, providing feedback and solving issues during the process.
Assisting QAs and supporting UATs process.
As part of Dettol’s 2020 rebranding, the website underwent a complete redesign to align with the brand’s refreshed, modern identity. The new layout was built for a headless CMS, allowing for greater flexibility and faster content delivery across global markets. Visually, the design embraced flat design principles, vibrant colors, and bold graphics to create a cleaner, more engaging user experience. Updated typography and simplified elements gave the site a more contemporary and accessible look. The result was a visually cohesive and appealing digital platform that better reflected Dettol’s renewed focus on trust, hygiene, and everyday relevance.
Dettol’s rebranding and website redesign was driven by strong collaboration between the UX team, the brand team, and an external creative agency. Acting as the central link, the UX team translated creative concepts into functional, user-centered designs that worked seamlessly within the technical framework. Their leadership ensured that brand vision, design innovation, and usability were perfectly aligned throughout the project.
The entire project was delivered successfully despite the challenges of working fully remotely during the COVID-19 outbreak. Through efficient communication, agile workflows, and strong team coordination, the UX team ensured steady progress and high-quality results under unprecedented conditions.
The UX team was present throughout the entire rebranding process, ensuring consistency and quality from initial concept to final delivery. We aid during the development of the first website template for the new headless CMS, which became the foundation and model for all future global templates. Accessibility remained a key focus, with the UX team not only implementing inclusive design practices but also actively educating the brand and business teams on its long-term value. Their guidance helped embed UX and accessibility as core principles across the project. The result was a robust, scalable, and user-friendly digital experience that set a new standard for Dettol’s online presence.
